LIPH4SAS
Livestock Phénotyping for Sustainable Agro-Ecological Systems
- Description
- Description
LiPh4SAS (Livestock Phenotyping for Sustainable Agro-ecoSystems) is an infrastructure dedicated to the phenotyping of livestock (cattle, small ruminants, pigs, fish). It supports scientific research in animal sciences aiming to foster the transition toward more sustainable agricultural and food systems based on agroecology principles. LiPh4SAS includes experimental units (EUs) and facilities that collaborate with European infrastructures. It offers tools and expertise for fine phenotyping and large-scale animal measurements, always adhering to the highest animal welfare standards and promoting technological innovation, such as non-invasive methods and alternatives to animal testing.
This infrastructure is part of the French National Roadmap for Research Infrastructures (2021).
