U2E

U2E is an experimental farm covering more than 125 ha that specialises in agroecology research under real field conditions (field crops). 

Its main missions are to contribute to plant improvement and the development of cultivars suited to agroecological systems, to design and evaluate cropping systems that promote integrated crop protection and agroecology, and to design, evaluate and contribute to the adoption of innovative cropping systems that are less dependent on the use of plant protection products. 

At the Domaine d'Epoisses, the CA-SYS platform has been experimenting with a variety of pesticide-free agroecological systems in field crops (wheat, barley, oilseed rape, peas, soya, faba beans, etc.) since summer 2018.
