Genome & Transcriptome Facility
- Description
- Description
GeT is a technology platform based in Toulouse, attached to GenoToul, which provides the scientific community with tools and expertise in the field of genomics and transcriptomics. The main technologies used are high-throughput sequencing, genotyping, microarray and qPCR.
Services offered:
- High-throughput sequencing of the genome or Sanger sequencing, transcriptome and epigenome
- Metagenomic studies and characterisation of microbiota
- Studies of the structural variability and polymorphism of genomes
- Studies of gene regulation and inter-gene interactions
- Genomics on isolated cells
- Bioinformatics and statistical analysis of biological data
- Consultancy, training and management of a scientific network
Since October 2019, GeT has been part of INRAE Genomics, a distributed Genomics research infrastructure with 3 other genomics platforms at the Institute.
GeT is spread over four sites in the Toulouse region, close to its preferred scientific communities and open to national laboratories:
- Get-Biopuces (INSA Toulouse)
- GeT-PlaGe (INRAe Castanet-Tolosan)
- GeT-Santé (INSERM Toulouse Rangueil)
- GeT-TRiX (INRAe Saint-Martin du Touch)
