- Description
ECP, which is part of the Hydrobiology Centre at St Pée sur Nivelle, offers studies on fish and aquatic resources in their environment:
- Experiments on migratory fish, focusing on the study of the biology and behaviour of species
- Monitoring migratory populations by trapping/counting individuals, stabling fish and capturing them in the natural environment.
Areas of application include
- Managing fish populations and their environment to preserve resources and biodiversity
- Population evolution
- Evaluation of aquaculture species
- Development of experimental ecology approaches (in controlled or natural environments), modelling and population genetics.
