  • Description

The UERI, located in the mid Rhône valley near Valence in the Drôme, is developing experimentation and research programmes on agro-ecological cropping systems for fruit trees (peach, apricot and apple).

The general objective of the unit is to propose and test innovative technical itineraries to ensure quality fruit production by reducing inputs in orchards for sustainable fruit production.

The research work is developed through a wide range of partnerships within the industry.

The Gotheron estate covers 86 hectares, including 65 hectares of UAA. Half of this area is certified organic.
