PAPPSO

South Western Paris Proteomics Facility

Decode the language of proteins to understand life.
bioinformatics proteomics
  • Description
  • Description

PAPPSO addresses the full range of proteomics questions, from the simplest (identification of proteins from a fully sequenced organism) to the most complex (quantification of variations, dynamics of post-translational modifications, etc.).

It brings together two complementary technical platforms, one in Jouy-en-Josas specialising in prokaryotes and the other in Moulon (Gif-sur-Yvette) specialising in plant biology, enabling PAPPSO to offer analyses based on the separation of proteins or peptides as well as shotgun techniques, with or without isotopic labelling.

PAPPSO specialises in high throughput (quantitative analysis of large cohorts) and the analysis of highly complex samples (metaproteomics). It develops the bioinformatics and data analysis tools needed to process this type of experiment, and assists users in interpreting their data.
